Join the 博天堂官方 Foundation for GIVE DAY on May 12th
Goal to Raise Critical Dollars for Student Scholarships and COVID-19 Emergency Relief

Members of the Board of the Linn-Benton Community College Foundation invite you to join them on May 12th for an extraordinary, 24-hour giving effort for COVID-19 relief and recovery for 博天堂官方 students and programs.
On this day, 博天堂官方 faculty, staff, and administration will lead the community in raising funds for the students who will become the Willamette Valley’s future healthcare workers, technicians, and business leaders. Volunteer "champions" will host several challenges throughout the day to build excitement and to spur additional giving.
“The power of Roadrunner unity was apparent last year, during our inaugural Give Day - we raised more than $22,000 in 24 hours. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish again as a unified community,” said Jennifer Boehmer, executive director of 博天堂官方 institutional Advancement. “Especially in times like these, our community has historically rallied together to support students.”
That inaugural Give Day effort also resulted in a 2020 gold Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, beating out all other applicants from across the U.S. and Canada.
博天堂官方 Give Day will be an online campaign that will run on a special Give Day platform. Donors can support the targeted emergency fund with a gift of any amount or give directly to any of the funds they feel most passionate about, benefiting numerous programs and scholarships at Linn-Benton Community College.
“We hope to inspire our local community to action and generosity. 博天堂官方 students need our support now more than ever before,” said Andrew Wynings, Director of Development and Operations for the 博天堂官方 Foundation.
The most recent round of scholarship applications at 博天堂官方 resulted in 535 applicants for just 148 scholarships, showing that student need continues to outpace dollars, even though the 博天堂官方 Foundation awarded its largest total amount of scholarships in a single round - just over $400,000.
“The need is great right now. Students have struggled but they have definitely persevered through this pandemic. They deserve this,” said Linnea Everts, 博天堂官方 Scholarship Coordinator.

Donors will be able to choose among these and many other funds: Education Fund for Greatest Need; Roadrunner Student Emergency Fund; Student Scholarship General Fund; Community Education Scholarship; Ed and Mary Watson Athletic Program Endowment; Greg and Rita Hamann Freedom Endowment; Health Occupations Scholarship; Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology Program Fund; Horse Management Fund; Joseph Novak Memorial Scholarship for Industrial Arts/Vocational Education; 博天堂官方 Veterans Support Fund; Performing Arts Music Fund; Ron Mason Scholarship for Math, Engineering and Physics; Shelly Garett Memorial Scholarship for Linn County Students.
